Here’s how it works:
1: Download Hivepass for free.
2: Open the app and enter your name and email address, set a password and select ‘Create Account'
NOTE: If you already belong to another organisation that uses Hivepass, when you enter your email address, Hivepass with recognise you and you just need to log in and then select ‘join other organisations’ from the side menu.
3: Search for "ROTORUA TRAILS TRUST"
4: Select your membership package. (If you’re signing up the whole family, have their details ready).
5: Enter your personal details and membership type. You can add a donation at this stage too if you like!
6: Enjoy your free trail Karma!

MAKE A DONATION
Whakarewarewa Forest is free to access for all, that's 5600 hectares and over 300km's of trails, for free! However, it costs a alot to maintain, so by giving a little, you get a lot!
Eligibility: Donations can be made by individuals over the age of 18 or those who have parental consent.
Tax Deductibility: Donations to Rotorua Trails Trust are eligible for tax deductions under New Zealand tax law, provided you receive a receipt. This is in accordance with the Income Tax Act 2007. The receipt will be issued after your donation is processed.

Your $20 will go right back into the forest to help maintain this amazing network, print signs, put petrol in chainsaws and buy more shovels. If you can, you are welcome to donate more alongside you membership fee!
$20 is heaps!
It costs $2 per meter per year to just to do basic maintenance in the forest. There are 300km of forest, you do the math! We understand though, if you can't donate, you can always come lend a hand at one of our monthly working bees
